Dear Parents and Students

We have successfully completed the first quarter! Second quarter has begun and we will be conducting guidance assemblies for grades 6th – 8th regarding middle school expectations, high school matriculations (8th graders only), promotion policy 6000.1, attendance, Naviance website, testing dates, 7th and 8th grade course recovery start date in November (must be completed by Friday, December 16, 2016 and returned to the appropriate grade level counselor) and pinnacle updates.

This will allow the students to continue to excel academically and behaviorally. The district introduced a new website called Naviance and it’s a wonderful source for all parents, students, teachers and staff to navigate. This website has a WEALTH of information for your use. All of our students have logged in and completed a Career Interest Inventory assignment in the month of October assigned by each counselor.

Students were very engaged and gain knowlege about careers, colleges, they are able to set academic and life time goals, they are also able to plan for their future, etc…so when time permits please visit www.naviance.com.
To access the information you must log in with the following:
