The Performing and Visual Arts Magnet programs consists of the following areas:
Visual Arts, Piano, Vocal, Band, Strings, Drama and Dance. Any students wishing to enter must fill out an application on line at www.browardschoolsmagnetprograms.com, or secure a paper application and submit to the Magnet Office at the address indicated on the form. (hard copy applications may be downloaded.) Applications for the next school year (2012-2013) will be on-line December 1st through February 15th.
Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and an FCAT score of 3, 4, or 5 in both reading and math. Tanscripts must be mailed to the magnet office if you are completing the application on-line. Students will be called for an audition, with the exception of first time/beginning piano, band and strings students.
